Setting Up a Research Agreement

The sponsored research team helps UBC faculty members with formalizing the appropriate research agreements with ease and transparency so you can remain focused on important relationships and exciting collaborations.
 

When you're ready to formalize the collaboration, you will need to send the sponsored research team the following three documents:

1. Proposal 

Develop a research plan or proposal.

 

2. Budget

Visit the Budgeting and Indirect Costs page for more information.

 

3. Form

Fill out either the Research Project Information Form (funding) or the Contract Request Form (no funding). 

 

 

Ready to submit?

Once all signatures have been collected, the documents can be sent by the faculty member to sponsoredresearch@innovation.ubc.ca. Our sponsored research team will respond within two business days.
