Here are some examples of the ways we’ve connected with groups across UBC. These are starting points - every engagement can be tailored to fit your group’s needs and interests.

General Information Session

We provided an accessible overview of Innovation UBC: our mandate, the ways we support researchers, and how to work with our office. A great starting point for new researchers or research administrators getting oriented to available supports at UBC.

Intellectual Property Lunch & Learns

We delivered guest lectures on intellectual property for researchers: covering what IP is, how the patenting process works, how Innovation UBC supports the IP journey, and what to know about IP before presenting at a conference or publishing in a paper.
