Athena Pathways announced on August 11 that the initiative has now helped more than 100 women advance in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science (AI/ML/DS).
A partnership of academia, government and industry, Athena Pathways aims to deepen Canada’s talent pool in these fields and make it more inclusive while delivering real value in the form of trained interns, workers and executives to businesses that are struggling to find domain expertise.
UBC is proud to be a partner in this Canada's Digital Technology Supercluster supported project which ultimately aims to support 500 women to pathways into the technology sector through education programs, networking and mentorship, and internships.
